This week the House of Representatives is slated to vote on two GOP-backed bills targeting federal environmental regulations. H.R. 3826 would limit EPA’s authority to regulate greenhouse gas emissions from power plants, while H.R. 2824 would block the Office of Surface Mining from developing a new coal mining Stream Protection Rule.

The Senate this week is scheduled to consider S. 1086, which would reauthorize the Child Care and Development Block Grant Act.
