Nominations for the U.S. Water Prize, which honors individuals and institutions that have demonstrated remarkable accomplishment in initiatives for improved water sustainability, are being accepted until October 31. Individuals, utilities and institutions based in the U.S. are eligible for the prize, which is administered by the U.S. Water Alliance. According to the Alliance website, up to three awards will be given to nominees whose program, project or initiative shows an approach and clear impact on the advancement of water sustainability in three critical areas: integration, innovation and education.
