EPA announced in the April 12 Federal Register (76 FR 20349) that it will convene an independent panel of experts for an external peer review workshop for the Integrated Risk Information System (IRIS) assessment document, Toxicological Review of Hexavalent Chromium. The workshop will be held May 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern time in Alexandria, Va., and is open to the public to attend in person or via conference call.
