The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit granted a stay of its April 9 deadline for pesticide users to obtain an NPDES permit for aquatic pesticide use. The court decision delays the deadline until October 31. EPA requested the stay so authorized states could have more time to review the permit, among other reasons. OMB completed its review on March 25. EPA has not yet published the final permit.
