AMWA is partnering with ARWO and Rogue Water Lab to offer a Board Governance Workshop on August 31–September 1 in San Diego. The training is designed to help utility boards and commissions elevate their governance performance. The full‑day training blends scenarios, facilitated discussion, and practical tools to support stronger oversight, long‑term planning, financial stewardship, and community engagement.
Held just ahead of Catalyst, the workshop is tailored for board and commission members seeking to sharpen decision‑making and deepen their understanding of governance roles in support of high‑performing utilities. Participants may also join an optional half‑day tour of San Diego’s Pure Water facility following the program.
A room block is available at the Westgate Hotel for $189/night plus tax through August 10.
