U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Deputy Administrator
Bob Perciasepe will be the keynote speaker at AMWA’s 2014 Water Policy Conference, to be held April 6-9 in Washington, D.C. A widely respected environmental policymaker, Perciasepe was appointed EPA's Deputy Administrator by President Obama in 2009. His career spans four decades in public policy and advocacy, including serving as EPA Assistant Administrator for Water under President Clinton.

From his position as second in command at EPA, Perciasepe will offer unique perspectives on the agency’s policy priorities for the water sector in the area of climate change – sustainability, resilience, adaptation and mitigation. He is also expected to address other critical water issues including water quantity and quality, as well as infrastructure repair and replacement.

Also on the conference program from EPA are Acting Assistant Administrator for Water Nancy Stoner and Office of Ground Water and Drinking Water Director Peter Grevatt.
