AMWA’s 2024 Annual Report showcases the association’s advocacy and knowledge-sharing achievements over the previous year, including:
- Advocacy efforts to secure long-term funding a federal Low-Income Household Water Assistance Program;
- Debut of Legislative Action Center, a new web-based tool featuring AMWA’s top legislative policy issues;
- Regulatory initiatives such as detailed comments to EPA and challenging EPA’s PFAS standard in court;
- Record-breaking Water Policy and Executive Management Conferences;
- The ninth iteration of INSIGHT Utility Financial Information survey launch; and
- Recognition of systems with 25 or more years of membership in the association.
The report also highlights the contributions of AMWA members, who have volunteered their subject matter expertise and time, to serve their customers by providing safe drinking water to advance the water sector.
