On April 6, AMWA submitted comments to EPA on the Clean Water Act hazardous substance Facility Response Plan proposed compliance date delay and changes to reflect Administration policy. AMWA reiterated its stance that the Agency should exempt water treatment facilities under the FRP and supported the compliance delay of three years in tandem to ensure that water facilities would not waste effort on a rule the Agency is in the processing of amending.
