On January 27, AMWA submitted joint comments on the draft Fifth National Climate Assessment (NCA5) with the Water Utility Climate Alliance (WUCA). The comments encouraged the authors of the report to present scientific information in ways that best allow decision-makers to take action and to include more practitioner-focused case studies and similar reports. The comments also urged USGCRP to emphasize the need for investment in climate resilience in water infrastructure.
