AMWA members eligible to apply for the association’s 2016 utility management awards were sent an invitation to apply from AMWA President Scott Potter last week by email and postal mail. Application forms were included with the invitations.
Any member that has never received a Gold Award for Exceptional Utility Performance can apply for the award by the June 1 deadline. Gold Award winners from 2013 and earlier are eligible to apply for the Platinum Award for Utility Excellence by June 15, and winners of the Platinum Award for Utility Excellence from 2008 to 2013 can apply for the Sustainable Water Utility Management Award. Sustainability Award applications are due by July 1.
Winning utilities will be honored in award ceremonies at AMWA’s 2016 Executive Management Conference, October 16-19 in Scottsdale, Arizona. More information about the awards program is available online, and members can contact Carolyn Peterson with any questions about eligibility.
