AMWA’s 2021 Annual Report showcases the association’s programmatic achievements in legislation, regulation, utility sustainability and security, resilience, and management over the previous year amid:
- The influx of historic levels of federal funding;
- The ongoing response to the extreme weather events;
- Cybersecurity threats;
- Changes to utility management operations;
- Attention on equity and environmental justice; and
- Supply chain issues.
The report also spotlights the leadership contributions of AMWA over the past four decades as the association celebrated its milestone 40th anniversary and prepares for a transfer of leadership.
Finally, the report highlights the many contributions of AMWA members, who have volunteered their time and expertise, including their local efforts to serve their customers by providing safe drinking water to advance the water sector.
