AMWA’s 2022 Annual Report showcases the association’s advocacy and utility management programmatic achievements over the previous year amid changes in association leadership.
Of note, the report highlights AMWA’s efforts to:
- Work with Congress to get the first-ever funding to the Midsize and Large Drinking Water System Infrastructure Resilience and Sustainability Program appropriated.
- Provide comments to EPA on PFAS, Lead and Copper Rule Improvements, and other pertinent regulations affecting AMWA members.
- Launch the eighth iteration of the INSIGHT utility financial management survey.
- Implement a first-ever members needs assessment to better gauge member needs for future program development.
The report also spotlights the contributions of AMWA members, who have volunteered their time and expertise, including their local efforts to serve their customers by providing safe drinking water to advance the water sector.
