AMWA works with Congress, EPA, and other federal agencies to advocate for legislation and regulations that best serve the nation’s largest publicly owned drinking water systems and their ratepayers. Whether it is getting the Financing Lead Out of Water (FLOW) Act passed or a standard definition of “disadvantaged community” accepted, AMWA is the quintessential voice for large utilities.

Among other year-round benefits, AMWA membership provides:

  • Executive-level education and peer networking at the Water Policy Conference and Executive Management Conference;
  • Participation on committees that help provide guidance and comments on a variety of policy and program areas;
  • Access for participating systems to the unique INSIGHT database and dashboard that provides a treasure of utility financial information;
  • Ability to survey peer utilities on a range of management, operational, and financial information through Member to Member Inquiries;
  • Solutions to emerging issues via webinars and issue papers; and
  • Acknowledgment of utility management excellence through AMWA’s awards.

AMWA also has new and exciting programs in store for 2023 and looks forward to unveiling these initiatives. AMWA encourages members and subscribers to renew by December 31, 2022, to ensure the continuity of benefits.

Contact Eugenia Cadena if your utility needs a duplicate copy of your invoice.
