AMWA is accepting final nominations this week for two distinguished individual honors to be presented at the 2026 Executive Management Conference. Nominations for the President’s Award and the Donald R. Boyd Award are due Thursday July 2.
The President’s Award recognizes individuals from AMWA member utilities who have made outstanding contributions to advancing water utility management and demonstrated meaningful engagement in AMWA’s work. The Donald R. Boyd Award honors extraordinary personal service in the drinking water field, including efforts that strengthen public understanding, advance water quality research, or otherwise contribute significantly to the sector.
Members may submit nominations through AMWA’s online form, with a separate submission required for each nominee. Questions may be directed to Interim CEO, Dan Hartnett.
AMWA also encourages member utilities to submit their 2026 utility award applications for the Gold, Platinum, and Sustainability tiers. In addition, all systems that have not previously received an Environmental Justice and Equity Award are eligible to apply. These honors recognize leadership, innovation, and service across the drinking water sector, and recipients will be recognized at the 2026 Executive Management Conference in Seattle.
